The pandemic is still raging around the world. We have traveled around our country but everywhere is closed. Even now India is in a terrible state.
I had hoped we'd be somewhere else this year....the house sold. A different garden but, alas, nothing. So Tom is redoing a bathroom, probably going to get rid of the old carpet in his office.
Yesterday April 24, I finally planted some cool weather vegetables. Last year I had planted on April 10 but we were in Texas until April 18 and then it snowed and was really cold all week. It is milder today.
I need more seeds and have done my crop rotation now with Sugar snaps near Wilson's house.
But I also bought seed tape, a salad Greens mix and added a few rows. One near the spinach and then over by the kale. And one on the right side of the stones going down the middle. The wind has made everything dry so I am watering with a watering can since Tom has not turned on the sprinklers yet.
I put a fake rabbit and fake owl in the garden as I saw a bird in there!
