Well, this is a different year. No vegetable garden. I've traveled in the past but it seems this year it was just not going to work. Plus we are in a bad drought. I planted some zinnia and wildflower seeds before Mother's Day.
We got back from Alaska and I rushed around trying to get some color in the garden, week the veg garden so they don't over take the garden (thinking of next year). So I planted some marigolds, petunias, coleus. I made a pot of a dahlia and two pots of geraniums. Two of the Rios. Plus one of basil. Bought a fern. Today I planted some sun flower seeds, So it is very lame.
I had a $100 gift card from home Depot, spent that on May 24 and $64 more. I got a few things at Walmart. The nurseries are very bad this year, even Plum Creek. Tom got me some flowers at KSooper. I gave them "haircuts" and put them in and will hope for the best. I have a video of the garden but it won't load to this site.
