 I got home from Cincinnati last night.  Glad I came home

a busy day.  Made two jars of bread and butter pickles, more dill, two kinds of zucchini bread. The blueberry one and then the double chocolate with walnuts.  I always use Greek yogurt

And I was worried about making pickles.  I fertilized the pots on Friday night as well.  I think I will see a couple dahlias before I leave.  The veggie garden looks wild.  The two hail-damaged tomato plants are growing.  I picked some lettuce.  Decided I needed to make zucchini bread.  I just kept making things.

Today was a marathon day.  I got up at 6am.  Instead of riding my bike, I made the pickle water.  I doubled the recipe.  I let it cool until 11.  I needed more dill.  So got that at Walmart, came home and did more pickles.   I have 13 jars  This might be all I make.   I also made that cucumber dill salad.  I was "if you give a mouse a cookie,"  as I just kept going.  Noticed the basil so made pesto.
