Getting near the end of the short season August 26,2015

Two weeks after the 3rd hail hit, the zucchini are showing new life.  As usual, the male plants showed up a few days ago and today there are two female flowers.  I did the pollinating just to make sure.

Had to add these gladiolas.  I've never grown them. I put some bulbs into the blue box
