Apparently while gone, there was a week of really hot weather then a lot of rain. We had the sprinklers on twice a day (got a $200 bill) but I don't mind. Laura and Wilson were a huge help. Here are the pictures:
Lots of peas and they are very sweet
And lettuce and kale. I do not know what is this kind. but maybe Arugula?
The cucumbers are just not crowing.
Kale and not sure what that dusty one is, maybe butternut but for some reason I don't think so
Zucchini. pulled out the lettuce that went to bolt
Should have thinned the carrots before I left
This lettuce is so good. Gave pages to Claudette and Wilson
Still one poppy but the wind blew it away the next day
I think this is a wild flower as I don't remember planting it and it is called Purple Ozark Beardtongue
So glad not to miss these lilies
Tomatoes did well. I think the bone meal really helps prevent the blossom end rot
Cut the basil and made pesto. Second batch for the summer.
