July 22, 2023 Lots happening and more rain and hail

Glad to see some snap dragons

The tigridia bloomed and lived one day. Then ANOTHER showed up 5 days later

Made a great basil pesto

What darn critter did this?  As a result, I picked two others, made zucchini yogurt chocolate agave bread and had zoodles for dinner.  I have covered with wire and some cloth the summer squash and the 2 zucchinis that are growing.
Why can't I grow sunflowers???  These are all over Dartmouth on my bike ride.

Beau picked and shelled the peas.  I am going to write a book, "Sweet peas for Summer" as she was being Sal in "Blueberries for Sal"  as she kept eating them as Beau shelled the peas

We continue to have rain.  We've had a few wild thunderstorms.  I had a very low water bill. Part of the US and Europe are burning up and all I hear about is climate change but it is very nice here.  It did get to 97 on the 17th  but that was the first day.  I need heat for those tomatoes.  Beau checked on them and is disappointed they are not turning red.
